Filtration: The Original Hand Held Shower Filter uses a 3 1/3oz KDF55 filtration media, a compound of granulated copper and zinc ion, that remove 99% of chlorine, chlorinated hydrocarbons and vapors, hydrogen sulfide, iron oxide, odors and traces of heavy metals like lead, arsenic, aluminum, mercury and cadmium, while inhibiting growth of E-coli, mold, bacteria and other impurities. The cartridge is 6" long and 1" diameter.
Replacement Filters: The reversible filter will last three to six months, depending on the water quality. The housing unscrews for easy cartridge replacement.
Hose: The white model comes with a reinforced nylon hose and the chrome model comes with a metal flex hose. The flexible hose is five foot. Longer hoses are available on request (call 866-875-4386 for pricing).
