How Do You Filter Nitrate From Water?
Nitrates require a special filter. CuZn Nitrate Water Filters use Cation Resin filters, which are commonly used to remove Nitrates. Cation resin is a negatively charged resin bead that exchanges positively charged ions in the water. Cation resin is most often used for removing nitrates, plus calcium and magnesium (hardness) from water.
