The Rhino Whole House Water Filter System removes chlorine taste and odor for over 300,000 gallons. The 3-stage filtration process supplies better quality than bottled water throughout the entire household for only pennies a day. Stage 1 reduces chlorine taste and odor with patented zinc/copper mineral kdf media. Stage 2 enhances taste and clarity with bituminous charcoal. Stage 3 uses a high grade coconut shell carbon media.
With the Aquasana Rhino Whole House Water Filter System there is NO electricity costs, zero wasted water, virtually no maintenance and the purified water it creates lengthens the life of plumbing fixtures and appliances.
The Rhino comes complete with a main filter unit, sediment pre-filter, installation kit, shut-off valve and required hardware. The Rhino requires 45" of vertical clearance, has a diameter of 9" at the base, and requires 24" of line length for proper installation. Typical installation is 1-2 hours by a licensed plumber and is usually done in your basement, garage, or hot water heater closet. The Rhino ships with 3/4" pipe size (1" pipe size is available upon request).
The main filter unit is easily replaced, no plumber needed, every 3 years. If you have more than 3200 sq. ft. of living space or more than 2.5 baths, we would recommend installing 2 of the EQ300 whole house water filter units in parallel. Rhino offers 8 gallons per minute (two can be installed parallel for 16 gpm), on demand flow rate, which means no pressure drop. The Rhino removes particulates down to 5 microns.
